If you were to accidentally tap on Delete, (for some users) the post gets deleted immediately. The Edit is kept right next to Delete and on smaller phones there is always a risk of tapping on Delete. Use case: Very often users revisit their posts to add a hashtag, correct typos or put additional text content. Based on my personal experience and some amount of user research (deep interviews with artists and influencers), here are a few recommendations that may improve the overall user experience: 1. I have been an avid user of the app off late, posting my illustrations and writings. While the design of the app is top-notch, a few areas still remain archaic and rigid. It has revolutionised and redefined how we generate and consume content and created new opportunities and careers for ‘influencers’, roles that were unheard of even a few years ago. Instagram continues to be the leading platform in the social media space.
